Hebburn Court is a fully CQC-compliant first-class care home and accommodates 55 residents in a purpose-built building providing a broad range of needs. Situated within a pleasant rural residential area of Hebburn in South Tyneside, offering General Nursing, Dementia nursing, Dementia residential and General Residential care for over 65 and under 65 years.  A CQC registered manager oversees the operation at Hebburn Court. The home is also well-located 5 minutes from the Hebburn Metro station, with quick motorway access and readily available buses nearby. We also have on-site parking for guests.

At Hebburn Court, Residents have a choice of lounge areas, which feature comfortable and specially designed furnishings. There are a range of comfortable and well-equipped bedrooms with specialist baths and hoists to support the Residents and all bedrooms are lockable. There are double bedrooms for couples or for those who wish to share with another service user and use the second bedroom as their living room. The corridors are fitted with grab rails to assist residents and unimpeded wheelchair access along with infection control flooring and lift access to all floors. Pets are very welcome to visit Hebburn Court. Hebburn Court is fully staffed around the clock. All external doors are fitted with electronic keypads to ensure everyone is safe within the home. There is a call bell system fitted to all rooms allowing residents to call for staff whenever they need assistance. Our safe, private garden encourages the residents and their families out for a gentle stroll or to relax in the sun.

Chefs at Hebburn Court pride themselves in knowing the tastes of their Residents and prepare a choice of home-cooked, fresh, nutritional meals and cater to any dietary and cultural needs. Hebburn Court operates an ‘Open visitor policy’ therefore, you or a member of your family are welcome to visit us anytime. Relatives can dine with their loved ones and visit them with no restrictions. We have a hair and beauty salon and a beautiful wheelchair-accessible garden.

There’s nothing more important than the quality of care and our team provides all-rounded care by creating a nurturing, homely environment that empowers our residents to live full, good lives. We provide personal-centered care for every person who steps through our doors. Residents are supported to live an active and fulfilled life. All staff are trained and supported to learn. Nurses are learned to administer prescribed medicines in accordance with procedures and NMC guidelines, assessing all aspects of each Resident’s care needs, whilst maintaining accurate records. The nurses at Hebburn Court deliver clinical excellence in a professional manner through direct Nursing care whilst effectively leading and supervising a multidisciplinary team. Trained senior carers and nursing assistants are trained to administer medication.  All staff are required to complete mandatory training and attend external training courses.

Nursing care

Nursing care is designed for people who have more complex needs and require higher levels of care than they would receive from residential care. Nursing care is best suited to people who have a long-term health condition that requires ongoing monitoring and support in the long term. This service is delivered by qualified and professionally trained and qualified registered nurses around the clock.

At Hebburn Court, we deliver a variety of nursing care needs such as profile beds and hoists to support residents to be comfortable, whilst maintaining as much independence as possible. We provide general nursing, complex nursing, and dementia nursing for under and over 65 years.

Nursing residents will receive a high level of care from registered nurses and care assistants meeting their specific needs and health requirements.

Residential care

Residential care provides accommodation, meals, leisure activities, personal care and emotional support for those who are unable to manage at home. We recognise that each resident is unique. Everyone who comes to stay with us has a care plan developed which is specifically tailored to suit their needs.

At Hebburn court we provide live-in accommodation, meals and provide help with essential every-day personal care, such as moving around, washing, dressing, going to the bathroom, and taking medication. Each room provides a ‘home from home’ environment, which allows the individual to personalise their own space with their own personal belongings.

We also provide home cooked food with a choice of varied food and social and leisure activities. We also organise activities and events with people from the local community, which means our residents can remain an important part of the world outside of their home.

We give the choice to our residents to spend their time how they choose, whether taking part in activities such as crafts, bingo or, simply relaxing in the garden or being pampered in the hair salon. Our devoted staff support our residents to enjoy engaging activities and experiences, which are truly meaningful to them.

We work closely with other healthcare professionals, and we can care for residents who have underlying health conditions. District nurses regularly visit and provide services such as administration of insulin, dressing and change dressings and wound care, so our residents can often remain in the comfort of home when they need a little extra support. Our trained staff along with person centred care plans provide 24-hour care for those require residential care.
